Women of Note Quarterly is a journal/magazine of historical and contemporary women composers. The audience includes libraries, music scholars and performers, those interested in women's social and political issues, and all who enjoy classical music.

Women of Note Quarterly is published in February, May, August, and November. Features include:

Discovery: Compact Disc Recordings -- Find out the latest releases or discover music by a composer you might have missed.

In Review: Books and Printed Music -- Stay abreast of the publishing world. Find new resources for classroom or performance.

Profiles: Meet and be inspired by leaders in the world of music. Discover and learn about new and emerging composers.

Scholarly Articles: Each issue features one or several scholarly articles on the music or lives of historical or living women composers.

The Alternative Beat: This section features a brief review or profile from jazz, folk, country, contemporary, or alternative genres of music.

Annual subscriptions: individual $20.00; institution $25.00; single issues $6.00. Foreign subscribers add $8.00 to cover mailing costs. For $15, we will e-mail an article or review and also send a back issue by regular mail.
